What is Frequency?
When you do something frequently, it becomes your frequency. When you reach a certain emotional state often, it becomes your frequency. When you find yourself in a similar state of being often, it becomes your frequency.
Why is it important to notice your frequency?
All life has energy. As humans, we have energy. When we’re feeling low energy, or high energy, it affects our day. It affects our decisions. When someone is having a high-energy day, they feel energized to make efficient decisions. I’m a person that has goals. I have a desired outcome for the type of person that I am. In order to become that new self, I have certain habits that I’m developing. Waking up early, exercising, reading, writing more, etc..
When I feel energized and hype, it’s easy to accomplish these things. However, science says that we experience our energy in waves throughout the day. It’s impossible to be high-energy for the whole day. We are bound to have drops in energy during the day, here and there. This is important to know, because whenever your energy drops, you are more susceptible to low-tide.
Low-Tide?
The Devil is bound to low frequencies. You cannot be swayed by the Devil until your energy drops. The Low Tide is where many people find comfort in their ways. It’s where people go to accept defeat and stop elevating. It’s where you relax, whenever you can’t keep up with your new habits. The old habits are hard to leave behind. They’re comfortable. The Low Tide.
If science says we have no choice but to experience the Low Tide, then we must find a way to defend ourselves in The Low Tide. I’ll list a few defense mechanisms to protect your new self in The Low Tide.
Study the Word of God
God has given so much wisdom to us humans, over time. The Bible, no matter what you believe, is filled with prime examples of the situations that we go through. Whether that be forming new habits, being tempted, overcoming struggle, having courage, trusting God’s timing, etc.. Here’s an excerpt of the Word that encourages me while I form new habits:
Ephesians 4:22-24 - To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. (ESV)
If you’re looking for answers in the Bible, just search up “Bible verses about ______” on Google. Then explore the chapters further for a deeper understanding of what’s happening in that verse.
Form Positive Low-Tide Habits
Once you notice that you’re having a low-energy moment, you should have a go-to method that helps you navigate that low-energy moment in a positive way. Maybe do something to remind yourself of your gifts. Do something to remind yourself of your positive habits.
For example, I’m a musician. So, when I feel The Low Tide, sometimes I turn on a live performance that gives me something to focus on. My old habits start to creep up when im experiencing low-energy. Having an alternative option to focus on has been really helpful for me.
Embrace The Low Tide
Don’t run away from these times. Don’t run away from these moments. Embrace the fact that your journey will have tough moments. Once you embrace this, you’ll be more prepared for when these times come. Whereas, if you are scared of these moments, you’ll get chewed up when they come. Embarking on a journey of forming a new self turns one into a soldier: so there will be many battles. Embrace them, and get better at fighting them.
Thanks for reading. These blog posts will turn into books very soon. These are the warm-ups. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read them. God Bless You.
