Calm My Fears

With his love, he will calm all your fears. (Zephaniah 3:47)

My girlfriend sent me this. I love my girlfriend. She knows that I’ve been dealing with a bunch of tension and stress, due to my job search and general struggle with direction in life. She goes through things too.

I love this scripture so much because I often forget that I am loved. By family. By my girlfriend. By God.

I often forget to love myself, so it’s a wholesome reminder that God won’t let me drown in the waves of life.

All of my worries, doubts, and fears are calmed by the love of God. Times get hard, for sure. But I just have to say yes to the fight every day. I’m not fighting alone.
